Today we’ll talk about the bare-bones basics of editing. We’re going to use Audacity as our tool of choice today because it is free and widely accessible, but you might choose a different editing platform. The practices remain the same.
- Wear good headphones. Plug them in.
- Consider the feeling you want this recording to evoke.
- Consider how it will play in the space and what you might need to consider.
As you get more sophisticated with your editing, you’ll need to know more than we can go over today. The Audacity Manual is an excellent open resource to get you rolling.
